About the farm
Vandoske Dairy Farms is a third generation dairy farm currently owned and operated by Bob and Tara Vandoske and their children, Brianne, Reid and Brooklyn. Established in 1945 by Bob's grandparents, Rueben and Roma Vandoske, the herd has grown from just 18 cows to the current herd size. We currently run 1000 acres and have 7 dedicated employees.
About the herd
Our 500 cow herd is 100% Registered Holsteins with a rolling herd average of 30,703 milk with 1154 fat and 929 protein.
We have a small separate barn to house the show heifers, allowing the kids to work with their show animals daily - something they really enjoy.
We are also partners with Jason Miller in Titletown Genetics. There are currently about 25 head owned by the partnership accumulated through the purchase of key donor dams, IVF work and buying select females at sales.
